Temple Square
Temple Square’s multi-block, 35-acre plaza is home to nearly 20 attractions related to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It’s anchored by the towering Salt Lake Temple – where, among other things, weekly meetings of the church’s governing bodies are held – and other fascinating buildings like the expansive Tabernacle and the Gothic Revival-style Assembly Hall, which offer insight into the history and development of the church.
Buildings are being upgraded, and in some cases completely replaced, and a new tunnel is being installed to improve access and pedestrian flow.. Yet, Utah is the only place with this church recognition with most of the communities living in Salt Lake City. This is a 126-year old church, which is still in good condition.
Great Salt Lake
Great Salt Lake is the largest natural saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere. The lake’s name comes from the nature of the water: The evaporation process (the only exit available for the lake’s water) leaves behind salty mineral deposits. Salt Lake City’s visitors and residents enjoy the area’s many hiking trails, ample picnic spots, and swimming, boating and fishing opportunities.
Natural History Museum Of Utah
The Natural History Museum of Utah is a wonderful family activity or something to do on a cold or rainy day in Salt Lake City. You can find many artifacts of Utah’s natural history. Hogle Zoo

The Hogle Zoo sits just south of the Natural History Museum of Utah. The zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. from March through October; it’s open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from November through February.
Liberty Park
The tourists coming with family must visit this urban park for recreational purposes once in Salt Lake City. This park is children and adult-friendly Park. Spread out over more than 80 acres, Liberty Park is Salt Lake City’s largest public park and home to a variety of recreational activities. This green space is a lovely nature retreat with mature trees, and many residents come here in summer to picnic or relax under the shady canopy of leaves.
